WHATEVER WOMAN YOU ARE BECOMING,
be her
What I want you to know about boudoir
A love letter from me to you.
When people ask about the kind of work I do, I tell them that this part of my job is what fills my cup up. The most amazing women wind up at my door, apprehensive and going through a season of change. When I looked back at my clients in preparation for this rebrand, change was the word that I kept encountering. The women I work with are all going through a change, either they are becoming a wife, a new mother, a divorceé, or just becoming a woman who takes the chance on herself.
Most of these women have yet to see their bodies, and themselves, through the eyes of the world or through their partner’s eyes. They view themselves through photos taken on old iPhones and reflected back at them through warped mirrors. I tell my clients that it is a privilege, an honor really, to introduce them to their bodies and themselves the way the world sees them. I know its scary but this is your chance to finally see and love your body the way it was meant to be. It is your chance to become the work of art that history has recorded about women for centuries. It is your chance to be brave and embrace the change and season of life you are in.
My message to all of the women who have already met me and to the ones who are still just thinking about taking this jump
Whatever women you are becoming, be her. Be brave, be independent, be alone, be together, or not. Be a new mother or someone who is navigating loss but still has hope. Be the woman who left a bad relationship or the one who found the best one.
Be her and take your chance.
Love, Mer.
