So I'm a Facebook stalker, and I used to (and still do) stalk Meredith Graves Photography. I was always in awe of her ability to capture such intimate moments between couples and families. After reaching out to me and some convincing of my boyfriend, I scheduled a Dog Family Photo Session. Little did I know, my boyfriend had contacted Meredith and turned this photo opportunity into a proposal.

Now I could go into 1,000 examples of how Meredith made this moment perfect for us - like the build up to the moment without ruining the surprise or knowing exactly how to pose us to keep me from being suspicious as he got down on one knee behind me - but that wouldn't even begin to touch on how she went above and beyond to pull off this proposal with Luke. Even more so, she found a way to capture our raw emotions the moments before, during, and after our proposal. Those moments are often lost after the blur of calling family and friends to share the excitement, but because of Meredith, we have those movements forever.

"I've been dating my boyfriend, Sam, for almost 9 years now and I've wanted Meredith to take photos of us forever, if that says anything! Her enthusiasm and instant spark of ideas 2 weeks prior to our actual shoot was making me so excited I could hardly stand it. Meredith made our photos look so natural and made us feel at ease and we loosened up almost immediately! She let us use a beautiful bouquet of flowers to go with our photos that really brought together the early summer essence. With that prop, we also had a live prop: our new 9 week old puppy!
